It’s the middle of the year in the middle of half a century
That sounds like a very central date. It sounds like a date that is good to be balanced on. I knew the end of June would be here quickly. The month has flown by. I am half way through the chakras.
When I finish Anahata Chakra, I will be more than half way, with 3 chakras to go.
The problem is that it is all irrelevant and not even real. It is all a perception of my senses. All the noise I can hear outside is what my sense of hearing can percieve and send to my brain to interpret. The noise is a series of waves formed by objects striking each other and the vibration of the noise is carried on the vibrations in the air. There is a noise being carried as a wave of sound that is being made by a man striking a metal post with a metal rammer or hammer. What my hearing perceives, could be incorrect. But that is the perception of my brain. I don’t need to see the man because I can imagine him in my mind. He thinks he is really there. but now, 3 days later, he is not there, so he’s not really there, neither is his sound .
But, 2 days later the noise, the man, the hammer are all gone. Now it is replaced by a light plane. Now that is gone, so their energy has moved on. Everything is in a constant state of flux, always moving with the flow. They were taking up that space at that time. That time was in the past but I knew that it would be quiet now, so I jumped to this moment because I started writing this 2 or 3 days ago. And now we are here, and time and space have all changed, beccause everything has changed around me.
If you want to see enlightenment, you have to acknowledge that everything is a perception of the senses. All the senses have to become still as does all the vritties.
Patanjali says that the vrittis are
- Pramana: Valid knowledge or correct perception.
- Viparyaya: Misconception or error.
- Vikalpa: Imagination or conceptualization.
- Nidra: Sleep or dormancy.
- Smriti: Memory or recollection.
Then there are the 50 vritties, or whirlpools of emotion represented by a petals of the lotus in the 6 major chakras.
If you visualize the chakras, you are using imagination and concepts which has to risen above to achieve enlightenment.
When you reach heart chakra, their is an aspect of Shiva that represents emptiness and all of space. This is the creation of yourself. This is the aspect of yourself that was first conceived by the union of the male and female. Your first united cell. That cell is your original self.
It is veiled by all the life experiences we have built over it. When you look into your heart to find the primordial sound of Om, Ishana will reveal your true self ‘The space in the heart is as big as the space outside. Heaven and earth are both within it, so also fire and air, the sun and the moon, lightning and the stars.
